There are a lot of stories from the Holocaust that are still not told. The documentary "Het Kippenhok" ("The Chicken Coop) tells one of these stories. 

The documentary tells the horrible story about eleven Jews who are hiding for nine months in a chicken coop.

"Tijs, komt Goed" is a documentary about Tijs, a school drop-out. A motivational story about making descisions and growing up.

This project was the first time I had to use beats, so this was a learning proces for me as well!

Every May Fourth, the Netherlands stand still for two minutes to remember the victims of World War II. The concentration camp "Kamp Vught" here in particular. Where a large group is welcome to remember the victims together. 

 

For the music piece of 2024 I used the Armenian Duduk and played it myself. The well known news broadcast "NOS Journaal" used this music piece in the 20:00 hour news.

On September 17 1944, the Allied Forces launched a daring airborne operation to secure the Rhine River crossings and advance into northern Germany.

The operation succeeded in capturing the Dutch Cities of Eindhoven and Nijmegen along with many other town. But the operation failed in its most important objective; securing the bridge over the Rhine at Arnhem.

This operation is know as Operation Market Garden.

80 years later we remember the more than 41.000 airborne soldiers who fought for our freedom. "Liberty" is written for these soldiers and is used in the documented memorial of September 17 2024.

For a short time, the "Sint-Janskathedraal" in 's-Hertogenbosch was given the opportunity to be climbed from the outside. "De Mediamannen" were therefore given the opportunity to accompany well-known people from 's-Hertogenbosch during this climb to listen to their stories.

The television show "Zin in de Klim" is accompanied by a cheerful and imaginative composition that in itself tells the story of the "Sint-Janskathedraal".
